The Impulse of the Horizon: Understanding Yi Ma
In imperial China, Yi Ma represented the imperial courier stations that carried urgent messages across vast provinces. Today, it signifies high physical mobility, cross-cultural diplomacy, international business development, and the innate drive to explore foreign horizons.
The Four Travelling Horse Branches
The Travelling Horse resides exclusively within Yin (Tiger), Shen (Monkey), Si (Snake), or Hai (Pig). When these branches are energized by your birth year or day pillar, stillness feels like confinement. You thrive in fast-paced environments, international trade, aviation, global logistics, and technology platforms that transcend borders.
Managing the Restless Current
While an ungrounded horse can trigger scattered fatigue and unstable domestic roots, a well-placed Yi Ma combined with Wealth or Officer stars produces immense international fortune. The key to mastery is having a clear anchor of purpose while allowing your geographic coordinates to remain fluid.
